Here is yet another Billiken kit. This is their Godzilla '75. He's facing off against an old Volks MechaGodzilla kit. The MechaGodzilla was the first kit that I ever weathered. I also made the mistake of painting him with oil based paints, so he's now considered a "fuzzy" kit because, since the paint never really dries, he has a tendency to attract lint. Oh well, live and learn.
I have that Billiken, I still need to paint it^^ Both paint jobs look great. Tryspraying testors dullcote on mecha g, sometimes that will make paint dry on vinyl.
Well, to be honest, the kit is nowhere near as tacky as it once was. In fact, I entered it into a contest back in August with no "extra" lint from the experience, so I think it's pretty safe. I do appreciate the concern, though...
Nah, no G-Fest for me. I went back in '02 and brought a boatload of kits with me. That was an interesting drive from N.J.! As a matter of fact, I had just finished the "Rodan" kit and took it along as well. I was happy the building survived the trip...
