Here is yet another Billiken kit. This is their Godzilla '75. He's facing off against an old Volks MechaGodzilla kit. The MechaGodzilla was the first kit that I ever weathered. I also made the mistake of painting him with oil based paints, so he's now considered a "fuzzy" kit because, since the paint never really dries, he has a tendency to attract lint. Oh well, live and learn.

I have that Billiken, I still need to paint it^^ Both paint jobs look great. Tryspraying testors dullcote on mecha g, sometimes that will make paint dry on vinyl.

Thanx for the tip! :) I've actually thought about trying that, but since the kit is now in a display case, lint is not the problem it once was.

Well, to be honest, the kit is nowhere near as tacky as it once was. In fact, I entered it into a contest back in August with no "extra" lint from the experience, so I think it's pretty safe. I do appreciate the concern, though... :)

Nah, no G-Fest for me. I went back in '02 and brought a boatload of kits with me. That was an interesting drive from N.J.! As a matter of fact, I had just finished the "Rodan" kit and took it along as well. I was happy the building survived the trip... :D
